About

I have training in and experience using a variety of therapeutic approaches and appreciate being able to draw from modalities that I believe may fit best for the particular individual. For example, my work is influenced by psychodynamic relational approaches, mindfulness based interventions, social justice oriented approaches, process-experiential psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and sensorimotor psychotherapy.

My work includes the following concerns: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, obsessive-compulsive patterns, identity exploration, attachment, relationships, and transitions. I am also interested in social justice and how societal concerns can impact individuals.

The relationships I develop with those to whom I provide psychotherapy are characterized by collaboration. Each professional therapeutic relationship is unique and this is something we will create and navigate together. Together, we will set agreed upon goals for therapy and discuss the approach(es) we will take in our work. I invite feedback throughout the process and see this as important to a strong working alliance and successful treatment.
